Requirements: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines On a typical shift you will estimate repair costs and order the right parts; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends.
