Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Day to day you will install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
