Safety officer — Hamilton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Hamilton County, Indiana. The job is on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
