Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Galveston County, Texas. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. The role involves: • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 1+ years on the tools preferred.
