Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Ford County, Illinois. The role involves run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery We offer $23 per hour plus benefits.
