GMAW welder • LaGrange County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in LaGrange County, Indiana. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc.
