Tiling assistant • Saint Mary's County, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy tiling site. On the job you will handle: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Performance bonus on top of base pay.
