Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Oneida County, Idaho. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
