Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Edo)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ovia North-East, Edo. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦11,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
