Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Latimer County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
