Immediate opening: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Val Verde County, Texas. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. You will mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
