Acoustic insulation fitter • Pima County, Arizona

Vacancy available: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Pima County, Arizona. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. On the job you will handle: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
