Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
