We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Columbia County, Washington. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience.
