Rough terrain crane operator • Clare County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
