Tig welder — Bon Homme County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Bon Homme County, South Dakota. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
