Wood machinist — South Lanarkshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. On a typical shift you will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
