Escalator technician — Municipal Area Council

Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
