Brickwork mason • Parke County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Parke County, Indiana. The job is at a renovation and extension job. On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
