Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Shawnee County, Kansas. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
