Steel fixing chargehand — Hansford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Hansford County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Full-time with occasional weekends.
