Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Morgan County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
