Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Ripley County, Missouri. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
