Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Heard County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
