Heavy equipment operator wanted in Northampton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will work at a plant hire yard. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
