Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Marlboro County, South Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 4+ years on the tools preferred.
