Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The job is at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day to day you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦290,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
