Confectioner — Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Essex County, New Jersey. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
