Domestic gas engineer • Castro County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Castro County, Texas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
