Scaffold fitter wanted in Greensville County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Greensville County, Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns 2+ years on the tools preferred.
