What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
