We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Zavala County, Texas. On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
