Milling machinist — Island County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Island County, Washington. You will be based at an automotive components factory. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 1+ years on the tools preferred.
