Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Otsego County, New York. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
