Sausage maker wanted in Campbell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Campbell County, Virginia. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
