We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Kay County, Oklahoma. The job is at a container port. Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Part-time with flexible hours.
