Health and safety supervisor — Ozark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Ozark County, Missouri. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
