Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Starke County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
