MIG welder • Morgan County, West Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Morgan County, West Virginia. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Performance bonus on top of base pay.
