We are recruiting: civil works labourer (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Dawakin Tofa, Kano State. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage On a typical shift you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
