Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Albemarle County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 4+ years on the tools preferred.
