Dogger — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Clay County, Mississippi. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
