Auto body repairer — Orange County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Orange County, New York. The job is at a commercial fleet workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Your main tasks: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
