Dispatch assistant wanted in Lafayette Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dispatch assistant in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a builders' merchant yard. Day to day you will pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list; carry out cycle counts and full stock takes; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS; operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets; pack items into cartons and seal them with tape; wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels. You should have: • Able to stand and walk for long shifts on your feet • Reliable timekeeping and good attendance • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
