Semi-automatic welder wanted in Elmore County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Elmore County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
