Motor grader operator • Rockbridge County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
