Vacancy available: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Dearborn County, Indiana. You will work at a land-clearing site. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
