On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
