Lift maintenance fitter — Muskingum County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Muskingum County, Ohio. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
