Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Arlington County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
